Internet from Rostelecom in rural areas. Why do you need wireless internet in the countryside? Unlimited Internet in the countryside

Now for many it is necessary that the Internet be present in the village, let's discuss the best options. The modern market offers plenty of Internet providers, but how to choose the best one? The quality of communication is influenced by many factors - remoteness from the city, landscape features, the presence of base stations. In the summer, foliage noise must also be taken into account; it creates an additional noise effect during the signal.

The best options for connecting the Internet in the village

What to do if you need Internet in a village (Moscow region) are the best options? Which connection to stop?

1. Optical fiber is one of the best options. The signal passes through the cable at great speed, the information is transmitted without delay. You can send large amounts of information. The cable is well protected and does not react to electromagnetic waves. This allows the fiber to be run simultaneously (or adjacent) to the high voltage wires. This option does not require additional equipment. The cable can hang in the air or lie on the ground, can be connected directly to the computer. You can make several access points at once.

2. Mobile connection through 3-4 G. This is the most popular way to connect to the Internet. This connection is fast and stable. Such Internet is available to everyone because of the pricing policy and regardless of the distance from the capital. Even weak signals are caught. At the same time, users can apply for an unlimited tariff. By the way, it is offered by almost all operators - MTS, Beeline, Megafon, Skylink, etc. The modem can be purchased directly from the selected provider or bought in a store.

One of the best options is wireless DomWiFi. It is installed in many suburban regions of the Moscow region. To detect, you can see if there is an available Rostelecom network, and then just connect to it.

A lot has been written about satellite Internet in the village. The signals do cover a large area, but for this there should be no obstacles in the path of the waves. Satellite can be in two versions - one-way and two-way. Both differ in quality and value.

Technology deficiencies

Each option has its drawbacks, which must also be taken into account. For example, fiber optics may not be available to everyone, since the cable itself is very expensive. The further, the more expensive. Only one installation of optical fiber can cost about 20,000 rubles.

With a mobile connection, you need standard equipment, otherwise the cost of the Internet will be high. Another disadvantage is frequent signal loss and network instability. This is due to various obstacles in the path of waves - the presence of tall buildings, trees with a dense crown, power lines, etc. The signal weakens even when the station is overloaded. This is especially observed with a strong influx of summer residents.

Satellite one-way is less reliable and slower, but not as expensive as the second one. The second option is more modern. However, the cost of such an Internet will not be pulled by all users. The price of the kit, which includes a plate, can vary from 30 thousand rubles. And it is best to choose limit tariffs, since unlimited is very expensive.

In the Moscow region, Yota, Skylink, Beeline, Megafon, MTS are in the main demand. However, before choosing, you must first choose the option which Internet is preferable, and at the same time familiarize yourself with the tariffs.

During the summer holidays, many people go to the country for the weekend. However, the modern pace of life suggests that you need to stay online everywhere, even where it was impossible before. How to make the Internet in the village? This article will help you find the best options.

In the city, for example, this question is not even worth it. A lot of providers offer their services, and you can get unlimited internet without shaping (traffic restrictions) for a few hundred rubles a month. Moreover, it will be the Internet immediately on all your devices, you just need to purchase a router. But if it is necessary outside the city, then the problem arises: how to bring the Internet to the village?

Mobile networks

Perhaps the most publicized way to connect the Internet to a village is to use it. This will be especially true if the village is not so far from civilization. For example, if the house is located a few hundred meters from a cell tower, then even the most ordinary smartphone will confidently receive a 3G signal. This is quite enough to check mail, chat on social networks, read the news. The speed will be enough to even watch movies or series online. But is it really good internet in the village? The best options will allow you to use the Web on other devices.

Required devices for 3G

How to provide Internet to the village on several devices at once? To do this, a router with USB support will come to the rescue. True, the distance from the nearest cell tower again plays a big role. How to make the Internet accessible to everyone? Firstly, you need a 3G / 4G modem that connects to the router, and then the Internet will be distributed to all devices. What gadgets to choose? You need to decide which provider works best in a particular area. The choice of federal operators is small - these are Beeline, MTS, Megafon and YOTA. The latter uses MegaFon's cell towers and its own. On the operator's website, you can see the signal coverage area, however, all this is very approximate. In reality, a lot depends on the terrain, buildings, trees, etc.

Let's say you have chosen an operator. What's next? It's simple: you need to come to the nearest communication salon, buy a USB modem of this operator with a tariff plan, pick up a router with support for this modem, bring all this to the village, set it up and finally enjoy the working Internet! By the way, now there are 3G / 4G modems with Wi-Fi support, which, of course, is a very convenient alternative to the bundle, which was mentioned just above. And such devices are not much more expensive.

Mobile internet tariffs

What rates to choose? In fact, much depends on for what purposes the Internet will be used and how often. If only once every few days you go to your tablet or computer to look at the weather and send a message to your friends that everything is in order, then 1 GB is enough for a whole month. Most likely, the subscription fee will be 150-200 rubles. But who uses the Internet like that? Statistics show that if a family of two people use the Internet in the village to chat with friends on social networks, about 300 MB of traffic is consumed per day, which means that about 10 GB is needed per month. It turns out that if you surf the World Wide Web even more actively and want to watch more movies online, you need to choose a tariff that will offer at least 30 GB of traffic. At a price it will come out about 700-1000 rubles.

Antenna for better reception

Suppose you have decided on a tariff. But, having arrived in the village, you encounter a problem - the network does not work as fast as you would like. An antenna will help here. This is another accessory that will help you pick up a cellular signal and amplify it. Antenna installation is especially relevant in those places that are a little further from civilization.

What kind of antennas are we talking about? In short, they can be divided into two types - these are directional external antennas and conventional repeaters, or signal amplifiers. The simplest signal boosters simply focus the 3G signal on the modem in front of them. However, this may not be enough, and then a directional external antenna will come to the rescue. This device is installed on the facade or roof of the building, a cable is pulled from it to the modem, and only then the modem is connected to the router.

The cost of such devices may vary. If simple repeaters cost from a thousand rubles, then the price of more serious equipment can start from three to four thousand.

In order to have Internet in the village, you can use the services of special companies. True, installing an antenna at a price can exceed the cost of equipment several times. However, if it is possible to install similar equipment yourself, you can do so. Each device has instructions that will help you understand how to make the Internet through an antenna.

fiber optic line

For those who are used to actively using the Internet in the apartment, the phrase "optical fiber line" does not sound like a curse. Needless to say, the benefits of such a connection are obvious.

"What kind of internet is in the village, especially fiber optic?" - you ask. Where to get it? Indeed, this can create a problem. However, if there is an optical fiber line nearby, then you can go to the provider’s office, or even better, contact the head of the installers directly in order to agree on the equipment. It might not be cheap. First, the cost of the end equipment for optical fiber is quite high. Secondly, you will have to lay separate cables to your house in the village. And finally, thirdly, you will have to pay extra for the work of installers, because they are likely to work after hours. All this together can make a solid price, reaching hundreds of thousands of rubles. If none of this scares you, feel free to try this option - the result will not disappoint you.

ADSL access

There is another option, how to make the Internet in the village. This is a copper telephone line. If there is one near the house, then you can negotiate with a company providing communication services and take it to the house, as well as to connect it to the equipment at the PBX. True, there is a large percentage of the fact that the necessary equipment will not be at the PBX, and then you will have to use the Internet, as in the good old days, when you paid for connection time to the Network, and the speed reached only a few tens of kilobits. Most sites simply won't open due to a page timeout. It is unlikely that you will like such Internet in the village. The optimal options are still different.

Wi-Fi Internet

Yes, it's Wi-Fi! How is this possible? Recently, a state program has been carried out in towns and villages, which allows you to connect the Internet in the village. How to determine if there is such a thing in your village? It's actually very simple - you need to see if there is an open Rostelecom network among the available Wi-Fi networks, then connect to it. After that, the system will prompt you to go to the "Personal Account", replenish your account and select a tariff. Moreover, you can even use some resources for free, for example, the website of public services, Rossvyaz and some others. The cost of unlimited internet in different areas may vary. For example, in some villages in the Lipetsk region, unlimited Internet at speeds up to 10 Mbps costs only 45 rubles per month, and if you don’t need to use it for a whole month, you can choose a daily rate and pay only 1.5 rubles per day. Of course, connection speed is a relative thing and may fluctuate due to various conditions: geography, weather, etc.

How is this option implemented? In the middle of the village, professional Wi-Fi equipment is installed, to which there is usually a fiber optic line. However, this method has a number of disadvantages. Most likely, you will not be given all 10 Mbps, which means that you will not be able to watch online movies. Moreover, there may be a limit on the amount downloaded per day or month, as well as on the number of connected devices.

Satellite Internet

There is another option for the Internet - this is satellite Internet in the village. That's really complete autonomy! After all, this type of Internet can be connected to the village even where there is no civilization, not even electricity, you just need a generator that runs on diesel or gasoline fuel.

There are two types of satellite Internet - bidirectional and unidirectional. One-way works only in one direction - to receive traffic, and transmission is carried out using another technology, such as a 3G modem. Moreover, it is enough that the transmission speed is at least 2 kbps, then the reception will be confident - 5-7 Mbps. Two-way satellite Internet has developed especially in recent years. In it, both reception and transmission of data are carried out directly through

The cost of equipment for satellite Internet is quite high: the simplest one will cost several tens of thousands of rubles. In addition, you will also have to contact the appropriate company for installation.

Results

So, if you need Internet in the village, our article will tell you the best options. The most important thing is to decide on goals and budget. And then surf the World Wide Web!

— the Internet is one of the most important services that my family and I need for a normal existence. For example, television or radio may be completely absent, but the Internet must be required! The question immediately arises: “How to make the Internet in the village?” I found a working solution for myself!

Why does the village need internet?

Why is the Internet in the village so important for a modern person. I can speak for myself.

Firstly The Internet is an opportunity to earn money. I run several of my own internet sites (including the blog you read), these sites allow me to make some money from maintaining their own hosting, as well as paying for mobile internet and cellular communications. You can find some of my sites. In addition, as I already wrote in the article, I make money by making websites for other people. From this alone it is clear that the availability of high-speed permanent Internet access is vital for me!

Secondly. The Internet is a treasure trove of useful information! This, of course, is an obvious point, but I will dwell on it in more detail. The fact is that we, as city people, are unfamiliar with many things in rural life and in the subsidiary farm! The surest way to learn is to adopt someone else's experience, and this is possible through personal communication and reading, for example, specialized forums or blogs of experienced comrades. Books, of course, are also the most important source of information, but finding good books is firstly difficult, and secondly expensive (stolen, I do not take e-books into account). For the education of children, the Internet is simply necessary!

Third. The Internet is a vast opportunity for communication! With friends, colleagues, like-minded downshifters. We use e-mail for business correspondence, social networks for communication with friends, Skype for video calls with relatives, various instant messengers with colleagues and friends.

Well, fourthly. The Internet is fun! Local, rural, and many city dwellers wonder why we don't watch TV! In fact, we have the device itself, but we use it only to watch movies and TV shows from disks and a computer. Plus, in recent years, various online cinemas have been working fine, such as ivi or the same youtube. And don't forget about online games. Sometimes you just want to get away from reality a little.

What is the internet like in the village? What Internet options are there in the village?

Of course it all depends on the area! For example, Internet options in the village we moved to include the ability to connect to the Internet through 4 mobile operators, as well as wired ADSL Internet from Rostelecom. The latter, however, has exhausted its capabilities - there are no free ports on the provider's side. There is also talk about the imminent implementation of a fiber optic line from the same Rostelecom. When this will happen is unknown, but we hope! At the same time, I would not say that we have some kind of “cool” village, 30 km to the nearest town, Talitsa. And to the large city of Tyumen all 100, but it is in another area.

And of course, such options will not be in any village. The best you can count on is mobile internet. Well, if there is EDGE, it's just great if 3G! Therefore, when choosing a house, stock up on a smartphone and SIM cards from different operators to check the availability and strength of the mobile Internet signal. Find out where the base station is. You can find out on the website of the mobile operator. There is a coverage map. Find your village, look at the circle of coverage that covers your village, somewhere in the center of this circle there is a base station.

If there is no cellular communication or wired Internet in the village in question, then satellite Internet will be the only option. But this is a very, very expensive option. For a more or less comfortable opportunity to use the Internet via satellite, you will have to pay tens of thousands of rubles every month. That is why we did not consider options for distant villages without the possibility of connecting the available Internet.

How to strengthen 3G Internet? How to upgrade EDGE to 3G?

In our house, the only available option was mobile Internet. Even when we were just choosing a house, I checked the level of access in the house and on the site by two different operators (MTS and Megafon). Both showed different signal levels in different places, but mostly edge. I checked with a tablet - the pages opened, that was enough at that time. In the future, I planned to improve the signal with an external antenna.

To date, there are many options for external antennas, but antennas with a special modem placement block are suitable for use with any 3G / 4G modem. In this block is placed a regular usb modem. The unit is connected to the antenna with a coaxial wire and transmits the signal from the antenna to the modem using two plates located inside the case.

Such a kit can be found in online stores, or in specialized stores selling antennas (satellite, etc.). I was lucky - there was such a store in Talitsa and they had a Remo Connect Street kit, which we purchased.

The antenna is installed outdoors. The first step for the antenna is to find a point with a confident, good reception and find out the direction to the base station. How to find out in which direction the base station I already wrote above, but how to determine the reception level? I came up with a simple way. The speedtest program was installed on the phone. I approached the point, waited a minute, watched the terminal indication (3G, EDGE or no signal). If there was a signal with support, then I ran speedtest and checked the download speed.

Using this simple method, I climbed the whole house and found a point under the roof with quite confident 3G reception even without antenna amplification. Speedtest showed 2-3 Mbps, which was more than enough for my tasks! Then everything is simple. I hung the antenna at this place and directed it approximately towards the base station.

By the way, if you didn’t look at the direction of the base station in advance or didn’t find out, then you can connect the modem installed in the antenna unit to the computer and run the 3G modem program from the operator to watch the signal level.

By the way, here is a video from the channel of the same settlers in the village as we are about a similar option for connecting to the Internet.

Total

After all the measures taken, we received a stable 3G Internet with a speed of up to 10 Mbps at night, and 4-5 Mbps during the day. This is enough for work, as well as video communication with relatives, watching youtube, etc. The only disadvantage of this solution is an expensive tariff and a limit on daily traffic of 30GB per month. I hope that someday Megafon will make more accessible and more unlimited Internet. For now, we're happy with what we have! If you have questions on the topic of how to make the Internet in the village or additions to the article, I will be happy to discuss them in the comments.

Our company connects the Internet in the village using wireless technologies, even at a great distance from the base stations of mobile operators. In addition, we offer favorable unlimited tariffs, which are not freely available.

Thanks to our extensive experience and the use of modern equipment, it is not a problem for us to install Internet in any village. You can verify this by looking at the numerous examples of work posted on the site.

Internet in the village: the best options

After installing the equipment, our master will offer the best options for unlimited tariffs from mobile operators and issue a SIM card for you right on the spot. Such a wireless connection is much more profitable than satellite Internet and significantly surpasses it in speed and stability.

Our service area is the entire Moscow region, while the installation price does not depend on the distance of your place of residence from Moscow. Thanks to the high speed connection, you can watch hundreds of TV channels, play multiplayer online games and communicate via video calls with the whole world for free.

Your children will have the opportunity to better prepare for the lessons, and you will be able to visit your favorite sites. Thus, unlimited mobile Internet in the village will help you spend your leisure time in an interesting way and always be online.

Fast Internet is needed not only for urban residents. Today, with the help of the global web, you can provide yourself with leisure and solve a lot of problems. If the house has the Internet, then its inhabitants have the opportunity to watch movies, programs and news, download video and audio, listen to music, read, communicate on social networks, use a variety of instant messengers.

Also, various payments are made using the Internet. Some people sign up for government appointments. When there is no connection, all this becomes impossible. The inhabitants of the house seem to plunge into the last century, when there was practically no entertainment in the village.

Internet in the village is a necessity. Indeed, without it it is difficult to install video surveillance, and you can generally forget about the "smart home" system. Think about how much you lose without access to the network. The Internet opens up even more opportunities for a village dweller than for a big city dweller.

What kind of Internet to connect in a village in the Moscow region?

To connect the Internet in the village, you must first select a connection method. Several technologies are available today:

Fiber optic connection;

Connecting the Internet in the village via fiber optic cable is often impossible. Local providers usually charge several tens of thousands of rubles for connection. The speed, stability of the Internet, as well as the service support of the local provider, at the same time, leaves much to be desired.

Internet via satellite;

Satellite connection is also not the best option today, because the cost of installing equipment here is also quite high. Unlimited tariffs at a very modest speed of 4-5 Mbps will cost 5-6 thousand rubles, which may seem too expensive even for organizations

Internet access via mobile modem;

A mobile connection with modem access is inexpensive, but the quality of the connection in this case will be very poor. Well, if the owner of the house can read the letters in the e-mail.

Connection via Dom WiFi company.

If you need stable internet in the village, then the best choice is Dom WiFi. We have already been chosen by thousands of customers in different regions of Russia.

How do we connect wireless internet for the village?
